signatures and countdowns and the like

Ok I have been trying to figue out this signature and countdown things and I for the love of me I cant figure them out. Years ago when I had my daughters I had countdowns and cute siggys on the birth boards I was on and for some reason I cant remember. Can anyone of you awesomely creative ladies explain to me how to do it thank you

You go to the left side of the page under Community Links and click on Update Signature.

What I do for siggys (personally) is upload whatever picture I want to use to Photobucket, copy & paste the HTML code (it shows up on the right side along with a few other links you can copy & paste)- if the picture is ridiculously big, I put in a number of pixels (180-200 tends to work best here) so the picture will be smaller.

For countdowns, there's usually a link provided that you just copy and paste, nothing too fancy that you have to do.
