Is it ok etiquette was to include the rehearsal dinner invite in the same envelope as the wedding invite? Only some people will get the rehearsal dinner invite, but those that don't won't have any idea that it is missing. We were planning on doing it this way (with two different response cards, one that includes the rehearsal dinner and one that doesn't depending on the recepient), but my parents say its bad etiquette; that the rehearsal dinner invite and rsvp card should be a separate mailing. What do you think? Can we do it in one mailing or should it be separate?
