Note to self: SLOW DOWN

I have

• my venue booked
• my reception booked
• my colors/theme chosen
• my cake decorator booked
• my guest list done
• my wedding party selected
• my list of 'must take' photos done
• my officiator chosen
• my musical selections half-way complete
• my photographer is booked
• invitations&RSVP cards done
• flowers chosen

at this point there isn't much else to do. My FI and I are still discussing who we would like to cater and I'm still looking at dresses.

I'm so excited that everything has been so easy! I've always said that it's not about the wedding, it's about the marriage, and I've kept to that saying.

Now we can sit back and enjoy being engaged and the anticipation building up to our wedding!!

Has anyone else planned really fast??

Dress bought
Wedding party chosen
Photographer booked
DJ booked
Musicians chosen
Some music planned
Save the dates/invitations picked out

I think that's it and I thought I was WAY far ahead!  Go, Alexis!

wow I thought I was getting ahea of myself with just looking into place card holders and favors. I have nothing booked, my wedding party is picked out and I have my dress.

The only reason I've got almost everything done is because my original date was June 2012. It's been nice though so there's less to stress about when it gets closer. I think it's better to have things done ahead of time instead of scrambling at the last minute anyway. I'm at about the same point as you Alexis :-)

wow... you all have been busy... I dont have anything booked... I have things picked out just have to wait till feb or march to send deposits... I cant wait to come back with checks...

I have almost everything picked, but nothing booked.  My original wedding date was 9/15/12, but right before we started sending deposits, my FI was laid off, so we used the money we had saved for the wedding to help with bills. He is now happily employed at a much better job, and we are looking forward to sending our deposits to confirm everyone mid march

We're probably booking our DJ this week or next week.  We were at a wedding on Sunday & *loved* the DJ so assuming the price is right we'll be good to go!
