When are you planning to send you STD's out?

I'm still debating on even doing STD's just because I knew a girl who sent them out and got pregnant and had to change the date. So if your sending them out when are you planning to send them???

I'm thinking of ordering a proof next month, spending the summer compiling addresses, then ordering in September and mailing them out in October.

I am planning on ordering them at least by August 1st and then sending them out by the end of the summer begining of the fall. If I get pregnant we wont be changing the date regardless.

No we aren't trying to have a baby sorry for the confusion. I'm just worried about any thing that makes us move the date. I think she just freaked me out. lol! No babies till AFTER wedding! It's ok to be nosey!!  Thanks for all the wonderful advice!!

My goal for STDs is early September after the summer vacation season is over. Since we're having our wedding on Memorial Day weekend, I want to give people plenty of time to set May 25th aside for us! Lots of family go camping and have to book early. We want to be sure to beat them to it.

Same here. I don't see a need to send them earlier since we don't have many OOT guests :-)

Ours will go out probably in July sometime. We're getting e-pics done the end of June, then once they get made, they will go out. We have many OOT guests, as well as getting married on a holiday weekend.

I'm thinking probably the beginning to the middle of October. Our wedding is on a Sunday and with all the confirmations, baptisms, graduations going on in May, we want to make sure everyone is able to plan and take off Monday if necessary.

Our date is Friday the 17th.  We are sending out the STDs early August.  This gives people enough time to schedule time off from work, etc.  Plus many of our potential guests keep asking 'when's the date, again?"  LOL..

I'm going to send mine out at the end of June... I know that's early but our wedding is the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend. We got magnets for STDs so people can stick them on the fridge.

Ours will be sent out in October. We're having our e-pics (rescheduled) done at the end of July, we'll get them back in August, start planning everything with our graphic designer in August-September & get them out in the beginning of October.

We are getting our e-pics end of July so we will send ours out in september/early Oct. But everyone knows when our wedding is since mosty all our family is invited.

We're getting our e-pics tomorrow, plan on sending out by end of June since ours is Memorial weekend. A lot of my family/friends are already asking what the date is again, so I'm hoping to avoid that confusion! Plus, we're sending out postcards, so people can either put them on their fridge, or do whatever they want with them!
