Mostly just completing DIY projects and putting more money away for me :-)

Dj and last florist appt on Oct. 1 hopefully after that all major checks will be done.

Just signed my hotel block contract!  Next up is mailing STDs.  I have them in the office today so I can scan to email some to friends who are not getting a mailed copy. 

Somepoint soon, once the colors start changing I want to do the engagement shoot.  Fall in the Northeast is so pretty!

My October to-do list consists of:
- Finalizing cake & pay deposit
- Bridesmaid dress
- Finish and order invites, menu's, programs
- Test DIY hair (i cant believe im even contemplating this) and makeup

- I have a florist appointment Monday.  We already booked this florist, but I have some different ideas that I want to see if we can afford!

- Some DIY signs

- Finishing up invites

On a different WR note, I'm getting my bridesmaids dress for FSIL's wedding altered and FI just got his groomsmen's outfit that doesn't fit right either, so he'll have to get that altered too... 6 weeks til it's over.

We're registering next week and that's really it for October.  

There's some stuff I need to buy (candles, candle holders, vases)  so maybe I'll start working on that.

And, actually getting him to agree to go walk around 3 stores for hours on end to finalize our registries.

However, most of the wedding type stuff in the next month will be for a wedding I'm  a BM in later in October.

Apparently my mom got my dad to cut the bottom off of some of the wine bottles we had been saving for centerpieces so she could put candles inside them for the wedding.  1. That's not what we're doing for the centerpiece, 2. She knew what I wanted with the bottles.

I had to call her and tell her to not ruin anymore of the wine bottles.

So now my October List is....

1. Take the STDs back from my mom and address them myself if they aren't done by this weekend, so they can go out on Monday.

2. Decide on a bridesmaid dress.

3. Meet with the florist

4. Get a catering contract signed.

Before Sept I hope to finish cutting up the first batch of 1000 coffee filter flowers. So first thing up in Oct is to dye and assemble enough to make a mock up of the centerpieces to know exactly how many flowers I need total and then continue on to cutting the second batch of 1000..

Asside from that MASSIVE DIY project the main priority is to save save save!
