Is it bad that I'm still holding out hope that this is MUD that is just being played off of other people's comments? Because otherwise I can't imagine how that relationship will ever be repaired and that is really sad.

Sorry to hear what you are going through Carson. I agree with Mel, you've shown lot more class than I would have if this were my FMIL.

She has shown a lot more class than I have as well.. My MIL is not outright vindictive and she is actually showing change for the better!

I don't even know if it's her yet, we will be seeing her tonight and if she's brings it up tonight, I think FI might flip out. I'll give more details later, but FI's friend that went missing back in June was found dead, definitely not a good time for her to make either of us angry.
