Getting started on my DIY projects! Just have to get the pails I need from IKEA for my centerpieces, my local one was just remodeled aso they had to take a lot of stock off the floor and it should all be back out now :-)

Photographer and officiant.  I tried emailing our potential officiant a few weeks ago and never heard back, so I guess calling is the next step. Photographer is going to be a tough one.  Its one of the few things I'm going to be picky about and there are so many options.  Also, I need to get FI to actually give me a guest list and help me figure out wedding party.  He's done exams next week, so after that....

Ordering STDs and invites are next on my list. I have already received a sample from an Etsy seller, they are so cute and so "us".

Edited: Had some down time at work so started on my wedding website Yay!

I plan on sending mine September-Octoberish. They say you should send them 6-9 months in advance :-) I'm not going any earlier since we don't have many OOT guests.

I'm thinking August or September. We are getting our E-pics done in July.

Nail down a guest list. Everyone has their separate lists with a general idea of number, but I've been putting off combining them because I'm afraid that it's going to end up with "oh, but it's just two more people." 

I also am probably going to meet with a florist within the month and schedule our next premarital counseling session with my pastor (required, but I'd do it anyways).

I NEED to get a DJ booked, I've been dragging my feet on this for too long! Wanted to get it nailed down by May, but that hasn't happened. So soon! Next thing to check off.

Also I want to meet with a florist to see what flowers are in season for the wedding and schedule our e-photos with the photographer. Whoo!

I have to meet with some florists. I'm working on 10 million paper flowers for our ceremony and i might just keep going and do the centerpieces too. However, I want to first meet with the florist so that they can confirm my suspicions that doing it myself would be cheaper. Even though they are gorgeous real I can't justify dropping $$$ on flowers that are going to die a day or so after the event. =/ So yea for me its talk to florists and keep DIY

As it is FINALLY May, I can finally book our venue (they have a 1 year max advance booking) and as soon as thats done we can sign the contract for our photographer (already picked out)  We have a meeting with both in the next 2 weeks.  SO happy to finally be able to check the biggest thing off the list!!!!!
