Venue Troubles

I feel like I am being wayyyy too picky when it comes to my venue!  Everytime I look at one I find things i don't like about it.  Everything else seems to be so easy as far as planning.  I know what I want!  Am I being too ridiculous about a venue?  I found one that my fiance and I really like, but I just don't know that it's the right place

My FI & I looked at 13 different venues before we found "the one".  

I think if it doesn't feel right, there's nothing wrong with looking more!

FI and I looked at 3 and when I saw the one we chose I just knew. The staff to the menu to the looks everything was perfect. I'd keep looking until you know

I know exactly how you feel. My FI and I went to 5 different places before we decided on where we wanted to have the wedding... and I still had doubts. But at least I'm certain now.. and you will be too.

As PP said if it doesn't feel right then keep looking FI and I looked at 9 venues before we decided on ours.

This was me exactly! I went back to my venues a second time and that's when it was official for me this is it! I love it I check out there web page all the time lol

We checked out 10 venues before making a decision. We both had a *VERY* good feeling about the venue we eventually chose, but it's not "perfect." What we envisioned as "perfect" was out of our price range, so we had to decide what really mattered and what we could overlook. I don't have the grand staircase that I had pictured leading down into the ballroom, so I suppose I settled a bit on that... It's tough to find a venue that has everything you want, unless you have an unlimited budget. But certainly don't settle for just "ok" - find something you both love. I'm so glad we looked at as many places as we did and didn't settle for something we weren't happy with.

We toured around 7 venues. There's always going to be a drawback with any venue, it's up to you to decide if you can work around it or not. With my venue, we can't serve any mixed drinks, just beer and wine- not even champagne-kinda bummed me out, but it's not the worst thing in the world.

With that said, no matter which place you go with- you should have a good feeling about it.
