Wedding Dress Shopping!

I'm going to my first bridal appointment today! I am so excited and a little bit nervous! I'm not quite sure what to expect. I think I watch too much say yes to the dress, lol.

Here goes nothing! I hope I find my dress today. It would be a huge relief!

I just did mine Saturday and let me say I had an amazing experience at my first place. I seriously felt like it was exactly like the show minus the alcohol lol my lady was soo amazingly helpful and I had the mothers there with 2 of my bridesmaids who were honest but not in a horrible way. I did look at a second store that was horrible ended up going back to my first place and bought the dress. I hope you have a great experience and find your dress!!!

Good luck! I agree with pp in that you should keep an open mind! I ended up with a dress that looked meh in the catalog but so INCREDIBLE on! I think thats the best advise I could give you and to enjoy it!

I also ended up with something that I thought I would never want, but I let the consultant put whatever she wanted on me.  Good luck!

We went to The Wedding Shoppe. It was a great experience and my consultant was great! I actually found my dress! I'm kind of shocked because I'm usually indecisive but I brought a bunch of pictures that she was able to work with. I tried on a lot of different designers and styles but kept going back to the ball gown. My mom loves my dress but thought I'd go with something more fitted to show off my body. I thought about it but love my choice.

I picked a Mori Lee dress, style 4969. It's brand new from the fall 2012 collection.

I'm so excited!! I also may take a layer out underneath so it's not as poofy but I kind of liked it as is.

We also took a peek at bridesmaid dresses and have a pretty good idea how those are going to look as well!

Congrats!! The dress is beautiful!!
I have 3 appts this weekend - 2 on Saturday (with mom and sister/MOH) and 1 on Sunday (with mom, sis/MOH, and FMIL). This will be my first venture, so I'm a little nervous, but I hope I have the same luck and find my dress this weekend!!!
