A while ago, a former Priscilla of Boston store in my state that was closing got a ton of heat for intentionally destroying their samples with red spray paint and throwing the dresses into the dumpster when they closed. Here's an article my local paper wrote about it at the time

So yesterday, one of my BMs and I went to a dress sale put on by an organization here that takes donated wedding, prom & BM dresses and gives/sells them to underpriviledged high school girls and other worthy causes. We casually looked at the wedding gowns just for the hell of it. I see 5 dresses that had these weird red splotches on them and I took at look at all the labels, lo and behold- they were ALL Priscilla of Boston dresses! I started freaking out in the middle of the rack and a couple people looked at me funny :-P I then explained what had happened and then they had the same OMG expression on their faces too!
At the end of the day, my friend did get her BM dress at that sale for $10 and now my sister who's my MOH just has to get her outfit and everyone will be set :-)
