FMIL made the reservation for our rehearsal dinner. We're having it at Stone Brewing Bistro and Gardens. Stone is FIs favorite beer so I'm really excited FMIL picked this place. They also have really pretty garden area where they actually do weddings.

Also we are close to signing our catering contract, here's the menu:

Apps:

Crostini with avocado and toasted tomatoes

Baked Brie Bites (brie baked in phyllo individual size)

Spinach and artichoke stuffed mushrooms

Maybe one other like caprese skewers

 

Main:

Couscous with Quiona salad

Veggie Lasagna

Tri Tip with Demi Glaze

Chicken Marsala

Grilled Vegetables

Potatoes au gratin

The only think I want to switch out is the chicken marsala because I'm guessing it won't appeal to everyone. They are also going to set up a lemonade stand before the ceremony and a coffee bar after dinner. Feels good to have all this coming together

That sounds great!  Is it a buffet?  I think chicken marsala is pretty universally pleasing??  Do you think not because of the mushrooms?  People still have the beef option if they don't like mushrooms.

I think the chicken marsala is just fine. For those who dont care for mushrooms, can just scrape them off if they don't want it. I think your overall menu is very appealing and I too would like an invite!

I am going to say keep the chicken marsala because that's one of my all time favorite meals I would get excited if I had it as an option.

That sounds amazing! I do agree tho, the chicken is a pretty universal dish.

Thanks everyone! Yeah I'm worried about the mushrooms, a few people I mentioned it to that are coming to the wedding said they didn't like chicken marsala so that's why I was thinking of changing it. And yes, it's buffet style.
