So I was getting my centerpieces from FI's brothers gf. Her family had used them for other weddings and they were perfect. Tall with tree branches, perfect fit for my theme.

Now FI's brother and gf broke up so now I need to come up with new centerpieces... 

I am also very sad that they broke up, they were together a long time and she is a total sweetheart.

On the plus side my mom bought her dress this weekend!

Sorry to hear that. Are you or FI on good terms with the ex-gf? Could you ask her anyways? (maybe I'm the only one who wont find that weird - its not like they would remind your FI's brother of her, would they?). And I'm not sure if you were borrowing them or paying them something, but maybe you could buy them from her if you weren't before.

Did you have a good relationship with her? If so, I wouldn't totally nix that idea.

If you're on good terms with her I would definitely ask about it still! On a completely different note- I didn't know you were from Rochester!!! I'm just 30 minutes away!
