After some Family issues in mid August. FI got a bit discouraged with the events that played out that we halted all planning. SInce then we've decided that we do want to have the wedding and that we should move forward with planning. We have decided to possibly make some changes to our " Original" plan. We are considering not having a wedding party (long story) and only having my children be the flower girl and ring bearer. I'm a little bummed, but i'm ok with smaller and simpler. My problem is that i don't know how to get back on the planning wagon. I dont know where to start. lol. I already have the venue, my dress, the venue takes care of the food, cake, and flowers. Photographer is booked. Whats next? any ideas or suggestions would be great. Thanks

Getaway car or limo
Rings
Tux or suit

Those are the things I could think of right away.

We're only having two people in our wedding party and it's SOOOO much easier!  

I'd look into the above and invitations/stds.  Also, are you doing any DIY, especially for the little things like table numbers, card boxes, etc?

Thanks. dj, & limo are included in venue pkg that we chose. attire for the groom and flower girl are a good place to start. Ty

STD'S are done and were sent out in Mid july. Invitations are also included in the pkg,  however i have to make it a point to sit down with the designer to show her my ideas. Hoping to sent them out in Feb for our May 26 Memoral day wedding. I do have a few diy to work on, so i'll start there. Thanks a ton ladies. I appreciate the help and motivation.

Welcome back. FI and I are only have 1 bridesmaid and 1 best man. Nothing else. And its sooo easier than a big bridal party.

Maybe you can start looking at the details of your tablescapes or ceremony decor? This will also probably overlap with some of the DIY items you're planning on working on.

Are there any other details of your wedding attire to finalize? Shoes? Accessories?

I am jealous of your small bridal party. I only wanted a BM and MOH, but FI has a few brothers an 2 friends that might as well be his brothers. He also said the party had to be even, so our wedding party is a total of 12, not including RB and FG! ETA....Welcome back!
