Hi ladies,

Remember about a month ago I asked for happy thoughts and prayers for my FI who had been laid off?

Well today he was offered a decent job! It's in Mississippi and I am less than thrilled to move there, but it is what is best for him and that's what matters since he is the breadwinner. Thank you for your positive thoughts!

Thanks! I won't be moving until after the wedding. My fiance and I are long distance. He is in North Alabama and I'm in Southeast Missouri. I was going to have to quit my job a week or two before the wedding to move everything down to Alabama, but now it will be to Mississippi. His family is within an hour of where he lives now, so I'm sad we wont be around any friends or family, but that could be good for us. He will be moving within the month. Hopefully it won't be forever living there, but for now it's the best thing.

Ah congrats!  I know moving can be frustrating and not always what you want, but I'm excited for you in that he found a job!

It can be tough, especially when its not your first choice, but look at it as an opportunity for you and FI to start fresh together in a new city, new life, new wife... now THAT sounds exciting. And being a little further from family is definitely NOT a bad thing .
