Am I the only one...

Ok so I had to post on here because I am a little nervous. I see everyone with their checks and things planned to do for the weekends and I'm here like Im havent done much of anything yet...is that bad? 

I've already booked my location, got my dress, and started working on the guest list but thats it. Should I have done ssomething else by now?

I think it depends on what area you're from. Some people have to have alot done in order to ge the things they want because they book fast. Others dont. Depending if you need to order things or have things printed, you might want a little extra time in case of shipping delays. Everyone plans at their own pace & if you're comfortable & happy with your schedule, thats all that matters :) Some (I am one of them) are planning freaks & want to make sure everything that can be done is done so there's less stress/worry as the day gets closer.

I would get a photographer. Are you doing STD's? Engagement photos? I think it all depends on how big your wedding is and how much you have to DIY. Our venue takes care of so much for us, which I love. Next would be to look into limos because May is prom season! We're actually doing that tomorrow. I would also crack down on hair and make up people because in some areas the good ones book up fast.

The checklist they have available on the knot is really handy. You may not need everything on their list or it may remind you of some things you didn't think of!

I'd for sure be booking your big vendors by now, like your venue, photographer and caterer. I'd also be looking at salons or freelance hair/makeup people and booking those as well if you're able to.

I agree 100% i would start getting the rest of the big vendors.

Thanks everyone for your helpful input.

 I didnt mention but the salon already books us our photographer, takes care of the food, and the flowers. our engagement pictures arent scheduled until after the new year. The FI has a friend in the limo business so we have that taken care of. As for hair and makeup I already have someone for make up i just have to find someone for the hair and schedule the trial. No save the dates for me as that usually isnt a tradition where I'm from. 

Any other suggestions to what I may be missing would be greatly appreciated.
