FI and I went to our local flea market this morning to find the window pane for the ecort table. Once we found the window we need something to set it on so our guest wouldnt have to bend over to look at the very bottom so we found this cute ladder... I am wondering if I should paint the ladder white or leave it the same what do you all think? I am going to clean up the window a bit not sure about repainting it I like the rustic look of it...


Edit: Guess I should put my photo inspiration below so you all can get a feel for what we  am going for...

That window is perfect! I would leave the latter as is.. I agree with you that I like the rustic look to it. Are you just doing one window?

As of right now we have decided on 1 window pane... I didnt think about that though I want to say our tables seat 10 people comfortably... Worse case I will just go back and buy another one they had TONS!!!! lol

That's so cool!  Perfect! I'd say buy some others- maybe each pane could be one table?

How many guests are you having again?
I definitely think that more than one pane would look awesome.

We are estimating around 60 to 70... Nothing too big do you think it will look weird if I put one on a ladder and another on a old antique type chair?

Is that the window you bought? If so, I think it would be nice if you did one table per square. I would paint the ladder white as well and distress it a bit with sand paper.

@SSRL: I planned on doing one table per square. That is the window that I bought at the flea market yesterday along with the ladder. I have some time before I really need it so I will be tossing some ideas around to see if I need to get another one.
