Do you plan on 'stalking' other weddings at your venue?

FI already has, lol. Our venue's in the city we live in and weddings happen EVERY weekend there in the spring and summer so it'd be pretty easy to do!

When we went to look at the venue we went on two different trips and they were both times setting up for a wedding so we saw the reception space all decked out. As far as the gazebo for the ceremony its a little hard to try to stalk there because theres security guards at the enterance to the country club so we would have to go dressed formal lol!

We probably won't.  The day we went to see the venue to put the deposit down, they were setting up for a wedding.  We liked a few ideas, but neither of us has the time to go stalk other weddings

If I happen to be there during a wedding, probably, but won't go out of my way too. I'm not in that area a lot.

My venue doesn't book appointments while there is a wedding and the venue is over an hour from where I live, so I don't see that happening.

Our venue is in hawaii so probably won't be doing that.

We might be able to, FI grandpartens are good friends of the owners so if they let us know when there is one we might.. Otherwise we just get to see the tent set up.

Yes! The wedding coordinator actually invited us to come see it this weekend before the reception starts.

Our place has offered to let us check out a wedding at some point. I don't think it's necessary though as they have hundreds of pictures online of various weddings over the past few years. They also hosted  a bridal show that showcased all their set ups, centerpieces, food, etc.

We are taking FIs parents there this saturday and they will be setting up for a bar mizvah, so we will get to see how it looks all set up.  Its a seasonal place and when we looked at it befroe and booked it, it was mosty closed for the winter.  My mom is going to want to see the venue also, so we might end up stalking a wedding.

If I wasn't doing a destination wedding i Def would I plan on tryin to stalk as many photos as I can though!!

The last time I asked my coordinator a question she told me about a wedding there happening same day and told me to peek my head in and look at the setup so yes!

I got to peek when we went to visit a couple of times. But I haven't seen an actual wedding ceremony yet, just pre-reception when no one was there. I'd love to see how someone else set up their ceremony in the apple orchard but not a lot of people choose the apple orchard out of the 5 locations to choose from at our venue.

Lol I'm sending my mom on Saturday since I have to work. The florist I met with is doing a reception there and told us to come around 3. Next Saturday my cousins reception is there also.

The most stalking I have done and plan to do is searching for photos of past weddings on google and local photographers albums on their websites.

The most stalking I plan to do is their website and facebook page. The venue is about an hour or so away, so it's not too convenient...although we are planning to go back one weekend with our parents so maybe we'll see one then?

Our venue is over an hour away, so most likely not.  However, our coordinator at the venue told us we are welcome to come by and see how everything is set up for any wedding this summer, so if I happen to be in the area maybe we'll sneak in and check it out.

We saw it being set up for a wedding when we went to originally look so no stalking needed.
