Today I booked our chair covers, ceiling, wall treatment and uplighting as well as a DOC!! I'm excited its all coming together.... My next step is next week put the deposit down for the guitarist for our ceremony and find a cake baker!

Is anyone else booking a DOC?

Our venue has a DOC as well however they don't stay until the end of the event, they are only there until dinner is served. I wanted to make sure I had some one all day to coordinate everything, from us getting ready to also make sure that all vendors are set up in time, flowers, centerpieces as well as help with our musicians we have a guitarist for ceremony, mariachi for cocktail hour and a band, I hope a DOC is worth it for us.

You have been very busy!  Our venue has a coordinator who's there for the entire day and I have my mom, who is the most organized (ha and somewhat perfectionist) person I know.

I hired a DOC, she is going to be sooo helpful. She coordinates all the vendors, does my timeline, and helps with set-up/clean-up:)

My caterer acts as my DOC. Part of me really wishes we could afford to hire someone separate to help with the timeline and such. I'm afraid the DOC/caterer won't be what I want them to be, if that even makes sense at all.
