Hey everyone I was just wondering what your something old, new, borrowed and blue is. I have my something borrowed which is the purse my sister used at her wedding but other than that I have nothing.

Old is a broach that has been passed from generation to generation in my family, New is a necklace, Borrowed is earrings from my mom, Blue is my shoes

I have plenty of new things, but nothing borrowed or old yet. Blue will probably be underwear or garter. I'd have gone with shoes, but I picked the purple shoes in my siggy!

So I am slow I didn't know your something new could be your dress haha. And I guess since my E ring was FI's mom until she passed away that could be my something old. I'm thinking my something blue will be my undies and or my garter...

Old is the lace trim off of the flower girl dress I wore when I was 4, I'm having my bouquet wrapped with it. New is my dress. Borrowed is the Bible used at my parents wedding, which the officiant will be using. Blue is the embroidery in my dress, the boutique embroiders your monogram and date into your dress which is included in the price, I'm having them use blue thread.

Something old will be a piece of my mom's veil wrapped around my bouquet stems.  Granted my dress was preowned so it could count too.  The something new was a gift from my FI's mom for my birthday (technically it won't be super new then but it's pretty) and it's a pair of pearl earrings.  The something blue may be the wedding date sewn into the inside of the dress, but I'm not sure.  My garter will be new technically as well.  Something borrowed I have no idea.  

I'm not really concerned with having something for each.  If I do, great, but not necessary.

I agree. I wasn't going to do this tradition until I found out that the boutique will embroider with blue thread, then I found out that my mom had my old flower girl dress stashed somewhere and suggested I use it for my flower girl... Which was not going to happen as it is completely out dated and has some discoloration.. Until I saw the lace and decided to seam rip it off.. So then I had my old new and blue and just needed borrowed.. So I asked mom if she had anything at all from her wedding from over 50 years ago and she said her Bible which has ribbons on it.. So it all kind if fell together!
