May 25th, 2013 seems like FOREVER

I don't know about anyone else, but to me our wedding day May 25, 2013 seems sooo far away   I don't know if its cause I already have so much done and I am bored with it, or because I see all my friends getting close to their dates or pictures from their recent weddings. If I had the money we would have been getting married this summer not next, but I was just graduating in December when we got engaged. Anyone else feel this way recently?

OH I absolutely feel that way!  When we got engaged last summer, I had just started my business, so I we wanted to wait on the wedding to give me a chance to get the business going.  Well now it's going really well, and I want to get married now!

I feel the same way and on top of that I keep looking at the May 2012 boards and I get sooooo jealous...but I am just trying to enjoy my engagment. I only have the ceremony site, reception site and my dress paid for my next step is the photographer so I am trying not to rush it but its hard lol

It is! But, the past few months have flown by already. So here's to hoping the next 12 months fill fly by and the accounts will grow lol

I feel the same way, I see people that got engaged after me and are getting married before me and it only makes it worse.

Hopefully this year will fly by.

Yep I feel the same... A lot of my friends are now married and I start to get bummed because I want 2013 to hurry and get here.... But then reality hits and remember we have tons of stuff to book.

Same here!  More people my age are starting to get engaged, and some of them are setting dates sooner than ours.  I was one of the first out of all of my friends from college, and now more and more are getting engaged.  As much as I know we have to wait for financial reasons, and so we both finish school, I wish it would hurry up and get here.  I'm so ready to be married to my FI.

At first I thought it would be forever for this yr to go by but it has gone super quick!!! Friday makes 1yr from when he proposed an 1yr till the wedding!!! We have some stuff to do still but the big ticket items are done!!! Last yr 3 friends got engaged, 2 are before me and 1 is after lol I'm not worried though we're not rushing our day will be here soon enough!!!

I know!! It will be so exciting to reach the 1 year mark but it just reminds me that it is still one year away...I'm sure it will fly by for all of us before you know it...some of you are almost halfway to the 11 month mark so YAY!!!  My FI and I will be celebrating our -1 year anniversary next week :-)

The weird thing is that the past 5 months of being engaged have flown by, and that's probably because we were in school and working/finding jobs.  Now I have 3 months of trying to find a job/working not very many hours, so the days drag on forever!  Once August hits, I realize things will start flying again, but even August is taking forever to get here!  I wish I could just find another job and work as much as possible to make the days go by faster, and save up a little extra money.
