The board is really slow today what everyone up too?

I went for a  3 mile run this morning before it got too hot out now I am sitting around with FI until I have to head into work. Nothing too exciting here lol.

Good for you! I'm at work, we're pretty slow today (knock on wood). Going to the Reds game tonight.

I work retail and it's tax free weekend here, so I'm working 2 to 10:30.  Which will end up being more like 2 to 11:30.  Currently I'm killing time until I have to go to work.  And waiting on my FI to let me know how his mom's doing.  She had to go to the hospital last night.

That stinks!!! It mainly for back to school things like clothes, computer, and school supplies... There are certain rules and what not but some furniture stores actually partake in the take free weekend too. I normally dont mess with it I will pay my 9.25% tax and not have wait in long ridiculous lines.

Holy cow a 9.25% tax seems crazy to me.  Ours is only 6%. 

 And according to my FI she's doing better and should go home today.  Thanks y'all.  Something happens every few months with her, and I feel so bad for FI cause it worries him every single time.  

I'm very jealous of your ticker already being at 9 months.  Just saying.

I just finished cleaning the house (boring) and right now Im searching the web pricing out potential DJs. 

Our budget is so rediculously low that I am going to have to be very creative! Le sigh...

I was on call for my retail job today, but my boss said she didn't need me :-)

I hear about tax free weekends and I bet stores are insane! Here in MN, there's no sales tax on clothes period, so if you're ever here- shop for clothes lol. Also no sales tax on groceries except for stuff that's in a bakery section- that's considered 'luxury' lol.

@ Steph: If I drive about 45 mins to KY I can get food tax free but what I save on tax I would end up putting back into my gas tank. Lol... Looks like I need to go on a shopping spree in MN

I am just chilling at home waiting for the FI to get up so we can head to my home town. He works third shift so it really sucks having to wait for him to get up but he needs his sleep. Have a great Saturday ladies.

Went to a Bridal Shower for FI cousin today. Laying around for the night. Tomorrow my parents are coming up to visit and go shopping at the outlets which are always tax free by where we live!

FI and I went to a wedding ceremony at the church we are getting married at today. So beautiful. We are about to head down to a comedy club with a couple of friends. :)

I have you all beat- in NH there is never any sales tax on anything.  Ha!  Lol

I spent Saturday up north in the mountains at this huge craft fair.  I always get a head start on my Christmas shopping there.  Yesterday I bought my mom a Christmas present, my best friend a birthday present, and a wedding present for FI's good friend.  The stuff there is gorgeous!  I always want everything for myself
