Centerpiece Mock-up

So I think I finally settled on what I wanted to do for my centerpieces. I was running into a couple major issues. #1, the space is very big (height) and I wanted something tall so everything wouldn't look so low in the reception room. But I just did not have room in the budget for flowers. I have these beautiful candle holders, but I think it would still look kind of wimpy in the space. So I remembered a centerpiece type I did at a bridal show. I got driftwood branches that I spraypainted white. I placed them in a long glass vase. I then used silver floral wire to hang from the branches and threaded crystal beads on the wire. I then used my glue gun to adhere hydrangea petals to various parts. Please let me know your thoughts. Honest opinions! I can take it!

I like it are you planning on putting anything else around it like candles or anything?

Yes, I plan on doing small square votives and then line the four sides of the votive with lime slices. I've seen this done before with oranges and just LOVED the idea.

Im thinking I may want to do additional crystals threaded to make it a bit more "blingy". Thanks for the comments - Im feeling more confident about the choice tod o them.

I love it! I say go for the extra bling. I saw something like this on pinterest & loved the idea, but it just won't work at my venue. But you did an awesome job!
