What kind of shoes do you plan on wearing?

How do you feel about flats instead of heels?

I'm wearing pink sparkly heels for the ceremony and probably the grand entrance, but once we get into the reception, I'm switching into either flats/sparkly flipflops with my new name on them

I am leaning towards purple heels/pumps for both the ceremony and reception! I would love the idea of some flats or pretty flipflops/sandals but unfortunately at 5'2 I need all the height I can get lol!

I'm wearing some flip flop style kitten heels, best of both worlds :-)

No matter what, I want to be comfortable plus wear cute shoes.

I'm wearing ballet flats or flat sandals. FI isn't that much taller than me & I want to be comfy. There are two pairs that I love in my planning bio!

Exactly. And our ceremony is going to be on grass so I'm not sure about wearing heels. I'm considering flats but my FI wants me to wear heels lol What to do... what to do...

There are little plastic things that you can add to the heel so that you don't sink. I'm not sure what they are called but if you ask about it on the Attire board someone is bound to be able to tell you the name.

I plan on wearing blue heels. I'm not sure what they will look like yet. Either something I will sparkle or some with a big bow in the back. I've got a few picture on my wedding pinterest board.

I am wearing blue pumps that have a sparkly heels... I sooo love my shoes... I say go with what your comfy in.... I am sure I will be rocking cute flip flops by the end of the night...

I've heard about sole mates but I'm not confident in trying that out... but I probably will. However, I'd rather be comfortable. But I guess I can deal with it for what... 20 minutes for the ceremony? And then switch to flats for the reception.

That's where my parents live! It was a little too far south for us because our families are more central Jersey & PA.

A lot ha. My grandparents have had a house there since I was 2 so I kinda grew up down there (every summer at least).

I actually just ordered my shoes yesterday. They are purple sharkley high heel sandals. with a semi bow and a bit of bling. I am in love with them. I do plan on switching to flip flops or sneakers for the reception. I am 5'2 and the top of my head fits under FI's chin so even with 4.5" heels Im still going to be shorter but wont hurt my neck looking up too much.

It's pretty dead and quiet. And windy. My parents are half a block in from the bay & it gets way cold by their house.
