The girls are getting dresses at Alfred Angelo since I bought my dress there and my Fi is a veteran they will get a 15percent discount too. I love 2 dresses they have my issue my bridesmaids are all different body shapes I want them to each feel beautiful and more importantly comfortable. I'm tempted to let them pick whatever dress they want as long as its the color Coral but I like the idea of them all matching. I haven't asked them if they want to match or not. I don't know what to do I know it's my choice at the end of the day but there the ones wearing the dress all evening and paying for it. How did you decide this stuff?

I narrowed the dresses down to five. Show all the girls the dresses they helped me narrow it down to 2 similar styles and I said ok pick from those two but its all in the same color.

My original vision was to have all my girls in different dresses, so that was easy for me. I picked out the colors and wanted them all the same length.

Having them pick two out of your favorites is a perfect idea. that way it will stick to your vision, but the ultimate choice is on their shoulders. I've seen many wedding with this style and it looks awesome! But if you really want everyone wearing the same dress have your consultant advise everyone, so that it is not coming from you directly. I originally had planned for all of my girls to wear the same dresses however, I wasn't 100% on the dress we had picked but my sister was in love with it. So I decided to do 3 different dresses and 1 of them was the original that my sister would wear (I only have 3 girls). All of the dresses are sweetheart, satin material, and have a sash. The dresses will all be lilac with champagne sashes. I though this would be good because each dress compliments there body shape and makes them all a little different but very similar.

because my girls are different in shape and height Im letting them pick their own style but in the color i choose for them to wear.

I sorta took a different approach to this... I'm plump compared to me very thin athletic girlfriends so with all the weddings I've been in and now my own this is my take... let the girls get a dress they look beautiful in. These are the pictures you're going to have forever and if the girls aren't comfortable you're going to see that forever. If they look like a stuffed sausage or a wet rat you're going to have to see that forever. They are your pictures, your day but the girls in the end are going to help make that memory. Do what you can to make them feel beautiful and you will be so happy with the results. From the very first wedding I was in I always said "If I look terrible in this dress it's your fault, not mine." LOL. See what they like.

I got lucky.  The dress I liked happened to be one that all of my girls liked.  If I were you I'd narrow them down to two and let the girls pick.  You want them to be comfortable in a dress if they have to pay for it.

I have absolutely no issue with my BMs wearing different dresses. At the end of the day, I want them to like what they're wearing and feel great in it because if they don't- those feelings WILL show in your photos.

My sister and I are narrowing it down to 4 dresses of same color and length and maybe fabric and then each girl can choose what she is comfortable in.
