My wedding is this Saturday at my parents' house. This wedding was planned very quickly because my father is sick. My hairdresser was aware of the situation, so when I called her 2 weeks ago, she was able and willing to come to my parents house the morning of our wedding to do my hair and make-up. She will also be doing an up-do for my maid of honor, and blow-outs for 3 other people. My hairdresser is bringing another stylist with her. My parents' house is about 1.5 hours north of the salon where she works, and she may have rescheduled appointments from that morning (I'm not sure if she was booked or not). What is an appropriate tip for this service? I imagine it is more than the standard 20%. I am paying for my maid of honor's hair. The other ladies are not in the wedding party, but asked for blow-outs. Even though they requested, am I required to tip for them? I communicated the price of the blow-outs, is it appropriate to ensure they include a tip? Thank you everyone for your help!
