1st Bridal Fitting and hair

I was just informed my gown is in. My wedding is June 30, 2012. Is it common for brides to be to have one of their hair trials done right before they first try their dress on or does it not matter? I'm just a little worried since my time is very limited the next two weeks due to tax season ending and I'm sitting for a state exam but I also want to see my dress ; TIA!

Hi, My wedding is June 16th, and i still didn't go for a hair trial. I don't think it matters much if you do it before or after the first try in. You allready know how the dress looks like so you can go before the try in or after. Next week I am going for my last fitting and i still didn't figure out what i want as far as my hair... I have a strapless sweetheart dress and i was thinking maybe a loose updo, but it never comes out the way i want it...:-/ Good luck

My wedding is June 24th and I still have not done a trial hair appointment....but I plan to in May, was thinking about having it the same day as my boudoir photo shoot.

I just had my first dress fitting this past weekend, and I did my hair and make up trial just before it so that I could see what the whole look would be like! I am really glad I did it, because my hair trial was a disaster! My updo completely fell out!

I think that's a great idea. 

It will either confirm that your hair idea goes perfectly with your dress or make you decide to rethink your updo idea.

it'd be such a bummer if you found out the day of that you didnt like your hair with your dress on your big day!
