headband and veil

Hi, I purchased a headband before a veil, and it has a side floral detail. When U tried the veil and headband on together I think it looks funny. Does the veil start right after the headband? Because that didn't look right. Then I tried placing the veil further back from the headband and the distance between the 2 looked funny.
Anyone have pictures of how they wore a headband and veil? I'd love to see how you did it. thanks

    I did a headband and a veil.  The veil was actually attached to the bottom of the headband near the ears.  I wore my hair half up and half down with it.

    I'm wearing a headband and veil with a low-do. For my bridal pics, I just wore the veil sort of in the back of my head. You couldn't see it on top of my head if you were facing me. Everyone thought it looked good.

    If you don't like the way they look together, you might want to consider wearing only the headband for the reception. Just a thought. I know a lot of brides don't wear the veil for their reception anyway.
