Big retro curls and a long veil vs. blusher veil?

 OK, I'm having a slight dilemma. I'm wearing my (quite long) hair in full on giant retro curls with a strapless, very slim fit dress. I have a small blusher veil which looks like this: http://www.serephine.com/products/the-gemma

    But I was reconsidering using something a bit more dramatic, like this:

 But do you think the long veil will be too much/heavy with the big hair?

I think the blusher would look better, but either could probably work honestly.
