Trial Hair Run

I think I have found my hair stylist for my bridesmaids and myself.  She asked when I want to do my trail hair run and I thought it would be a good idea to do it before my bridal portraits and kill two birds with one stone.  Is this a good idea? Or should these two things be separate?  Any advice?

I did a trial make up and hair for my engagement photos too, but i will have a completlly different hairstyle for my wedding. I think same make up is ok but the hair i would do different.

I think its a great idea, it all just depends on how you're doing it.

maybe you're wanting a tighter curl with an updo for your wedding, the stylist could do your trial, then brush out the curl a bit and you'd end up with a really nice loose wave and you could wear your hair down, giving you two different looks and like you said, you're killing two birds with one stone.
