No Hairdresser

So...my hairdresser is best friends with another friend of mine...this friend is getting married the week after my wedding and having her bacholorette party the weekend of my wedding...Long story short, my hairdresser will be out of town partying!!  My second choice will be at the same party...

Question:  Would you just do your own hair?  Or would you try to find someone new for that day?

I can style my hair fairly well...sometime I like it better than stylist...
What would you do?

    I'd just do it myself. Even if I had to choose a simpler style, I would still rather know how to expect it to turn out than try someone new for the wedding.

    What kind of style did you have in mind?

    I have long hair...so I was just going to have lose curls and have the bangs held back with a comb.  I think it will be fairly easy to do.
