Uggh hair out of control-NWR

So I need hair advice. I'm growing it out for the wedding/ I'll donate it again later, but it probably hasn't been this long since high school and I seriously have forgotten how to manage it. It's a bit past my sholders now and I'm pretty sure has changed texture since the last time I had it long. If I wear it down, by the time I get to work in the morning, it is frizzy and super messy and I can't seem to fix it. Any advice on how to keep it under control?

FYI- My hair is pretty straight, it has a bit of wave to it, but not significant, but it's also reasonably think. I don't like to blow dry it or use heat on it, but I kind of wonder if I can avoid that anymore. I also don't wash it every day, which sort of helps.

Aveda has products in its smooth infusion line that will help with this.  It helps keep it straight and protects it from heat.  Add just a little to your hair before and after your blow dry it and before you use a straightener on it.  I have very naturally curly hair and it will stay straight for about five days before it start to act up.  Anyone there can help you find the products that will work best for you.

Coppola Keratin or Global Kerain treatment smooth down hair and make it shine. Quarteroff and Groupon regularly have deals for $79-99.
  • I put coconut oil on my hair at night ...works well to tame the frizz.
