Last weekend I found a dress at Michael's Bridal on Rt. 19 and my mom and I really loved it, but didn't want to buy until I brought my sister, aunt and grandma to approve. This morning I had an appointment at The Exquisite Bride in Gibsonia. They were very nice and I tried on about 20 dresses in 2 1/2 hours and found 2 that I like, but didn't love. We then came back to Michael's Bridal to try on the dress from last weekend and as soon as I walked in the store, I saw a new Maggie Sottero hanging on a mannequin - it actually is the same dress I saw in the window at One Enchanted Evening Thursday night and loved. I added it to my list. I tried an 8 dresses, including the one from last weekend and that was still it UNTIL I tried on the new Maggie. I just LOVED it and it's so flattering and elegant and perfect for our Winter wedding at St. Paul Cathedral and the Carnegie Music Hall Foyer. I can't wait to get it!
Here's the dress! It's actually in my size and the right color - which made the decision even easier. I will be making it a true sweetheart neckline though to soften it up a bit.
