I'm always in a pool (I'm a lifeguard and swim instructor) for up to 15 hours a week and my hair needs some serious help. I currently soak my hair completely prior to getting in the pool and use a kids chlorine removing shampoo and moisturizing conditioner daily when I get out, but the chemicals in the pool are harsh enough that it's making my dark brown hair turn blond. I cut off 4 inches back in November because it was so bad and I'm concerned that my hair isn't going to be in good condition for my wedding and that I may have to continue cutting it to keep it from looking horrible (it's just touching my shoulders now and I want it longer). Is there anything that can help my hair look better and keep it looking healthier?
