Honest Opinions on hair (PIP)

My hair trial was this past weekend. I just went in thinking I wanted some sort of high side-ponytail with curls. My dress has a sweetheart neckline with straps on the very edge of my shoulders so I didn't want my hair covering up the pretty detail. (a high ponytail would keep the majority of my hair off my shoulder)

The curls will be more defined/less limp on the day-of.

I don't think I love it. Maybe if the ponytail was further back behind my ear I would like it more...

This was my first thought.  I swear I saw this style at formal dances in highschool in the late 80s - all held together by Rave hairspray.

I think it's too high but I like what you're going for - I think a little lower and it would be gorgeous, but I agree with PP it makes you look younger than you are!
