Making Hair Grow faster

Im really trying to grow out my bangs. My hair is about 3 inches below my shoulders and my bangs are 2 inches past my chin. They need to grow about 4 inches to be perfect.

Do you have any ways or advice on how to make my hair grow faster? I heard of all these home remedies but I dont want to try one blind sided

Re: Making Hair Grow faster

  • no clue, but I need my hair to grow too! I got it cut and they did it too short.
  • I heard if you keep getting regular cuts so the dead ends go away itll work out but actually it didnt work for me.

  • I'm also wanting my hair longer for the big day! I was just told to take Prenatal vitamins in order for my hair to grow. Either that or Biotin. I plan on trying them and my DR said it was okay, nothing harmful, they are just vitamins.

  • So truth is you can not really control the growth rate of your hair. I asked my stylist whom has 20 plus years as a manager at a top rated salon. She stated that prenatal vitamins will help replenish nutrients missing from your diet, but they will not actually make your hair growth rate increase. Also, cutting you hair regularly will make it appear healthier, but does not increase the growth rate. Have you ever seen the homeless man walking around with hair to his rear? I am sure he was not on a specific prenatal vitamin. Your body has a predetermined growth rate whether you choose to do anything or not. Just the way it goes. Hope this helps! I am sure you will be beautiful no matter what!!!
  • I'm taking Biotin leading up to my wedding in May. I've actually been taking it for a couple of months, and my manicurist just commented on how strong my nails have gotten. It may not help the growth rate, but it certainly can't hurt! Maybe it will at least make my hair stronger (like my nails) and therefore less prone to breakage... so that means it will help it grow by not breaking prematurely.

  • I agree with PP, take Biotin (its a vitamin) it promotes nail, hair and skin health.  I've been taking it for about 7 months.  I used to get my hair highlighted about every 10 weeks, noow I go about 7 weeks because my hair grows faster.  Also, keep trimming it!
  • Heep trimming it and try to reduce the number of heat styling tools you use. If you can forgo a few days without a blowdryer/ iron, it will help to keep the ends from splitting, meaning you will take off less when you get a trim. The more damage you do to your hair, the more you need to take off each time.

  • I believe extra vitamins, hair cuts, etc, will make your hair grow healthier, which may help it break less easily, but it will not gro faster.
  • You could try this:
It's supposed to make your hair grow longer and super smooth, I haven't tried it yet, but it's on my list
