Hi everybody. So here's the dilemma. (I am getting married August 1st).
For the ceremony, I want to wear a russian blusher. My hair will be almost pixie-short (so no updo) and adorned with a feather fascinator. The veil is an important thing to me, because when my parents got married, the veil was the only demand my dad made. So he is walking me down the aisle, and I want to continue that tradition.
Now my issue with the bircage veil. How does one pull it back? Would my dad or groom just lift it back and then it will cover my fascinator for the ceremony or end of the ceremony, depending when I have it lifted? Just curious, I don't particularly like the idea of my fascinator being covered.. I have never been to a wedding where the bride had a blusher and I can't find information online.
