Paper Lanterns...

Is anyone lighting their paper lanterns they are using?  If so how are you doing it?  I was thinking about doing the battery operated ones and then saw they only last 5-7 hrs and am afraid they won't last through the reception if we light them earlier in the day.

I'd look for battery operated ones that last longer.  I'm also using floralytes, which put out almost as much light and last a lot longer.  I did a test one and it lasted for 24 hours!

I got these from Michael's for $2-3:

Sorry it's sideways- These are blinking ones (opps- didn't mean to pick these up), but they also have nonblinking.

Amanda, how are you attaching them to your lanterns? I'm looking for something similar but curious how they'll stay?

They have little holes at one end of them- I was planning on using twine/ fishing line to tie to the light and then hang it from that little metal crossbar piece that holds the lantern up.

If you look at the picture, you can kind of see the holes- When looking at the sideways picture they're on the left side of the light
