We're having a friend of ours perform our wedding ceremony. We live/are getting married in MA and had to apply for a "request for solemnization" through the governor's office. This basically gives a one time pass to officiate that one wedding on that one day.
Our friend just forwarded me his email from the governor's office and he's been approved to officiate our wedding!! I wasn't really worried about it but I'm so relieved that it's done!
