FI and I both managed to get the day off yesterday to get wedding stuff done. Indeed, we did! Purchased our wedding bands at Zales. Then we went to Borough Hall in Staten Island where we applied for our marriage license. That was easy and no line :-) After that we met w/ the priest to finalize the ceremony details.  Since I was in my old neighborhood I walked around and just took some random (cell phone) shots of where I grew up. It was a good day!

Congrats on Checks. I'm still waiting for my priest to call me back with ceremony detials ughhhh.. however invitations went out and people are calling left and right telling me how excited they are I feel the more you check off your list the sooner its coming!!!
