Baby FEVER

So FI's cousin just had a baby, MY cousin just had a baby.. a lady at work is pregnant, and another cousin of mine is pregnant... and I want a baby.

I do want kids... and right now I think it's just becuase I know a lot of people who have just had babies or are going to have a baby (I want the baby, but don't want it to grow up! lol.. . kinda like when you want a puppy but get tired of it after it passes the cute puppy stage)... but ya know.. I'm getting the itch!

FI have a lot of stuff planned for the next couple years (extensive property renovations) and I don't want kids until that stuff is all done.. but all these kids around me are sure freakin cute! At least  I can spend time with them... and spoil them for now!

I've seen lots of babies pop up on FB, including one of my friends and my FSIL. I guess we're at that age? Haha! But we don't want any for a couple of years so we can spend time alone. We'll just play with everyone else's kids in the meantime.

My fever is soooooo bad. We're in our 30s and both want several children so we aren't going to wait after we get married so I'm about a month away from actually trying. You'd think that knowledge would actually make it better because we're sooooo close, but it's making it worse! I don't want to wait another month- I want to try now!

I'm a children's librarian so I see babies all day long and I can't wait to have my own.

My Facebook feed is being overrun by babies!! FI and I are in no rush, but it's giving me an itch...

I have the itch too but then there are times when I am happy we don't have any kids, llike this weekend, we laid in bed and watched movies allllll saturday! it was fabulous, can't do that once we have kids.... but they are soooooooooo freakin cute!!!

This. (MInus the librarian thing). FI is 35 and I am 29. We actually had planned to start trying this month, but when I realized it would be a Christmas baby I changed my mind.
We will be starting to try right away. It works out that the best time to try is literally the couple days after the wedding so even though we aren't taking a honeymoon til July, FI will be happy with all the "trying" lol.

I agree with you enchanted. It is only 2.5 weeks away  and I find it harder to wait then back when we were a long way from the wedding.
Of course I am also excited for the actually wedding (2.5 weeks, ACK!)

If you have baby fever...you are welcome to come babysit "my" 14month old for 2 weeks..if you still want one after that then you can have baby fever, but if its just because they are are cute.....theres a lot more to it then that!!!! I agree with pp, I love him to pieces, but they are a lot of work and commitment and you have to be willing to give up ALL of your own hobbies/time/nights out/sleep, for more then just a day or even a few weeks, its permenent (well not mine since he will go back to his biological mom and dad in 3 or 4 months hopefully, but still).

We are both in our mid 30s and want kids. Since I am on depo just had my last shot, it will be no go for s few more months. I'm ready for a baby...hard work and all because they're worth it.

I feel the same say! Both FSILs are trying to have a baby, or may even be pregnant right now.. so this winter I will be very jealous! At least I will be living very close to one of them to take care of her baby
