NWR: Surgery =(

Well, after months of issues with my neck and migraines and pain, I went to a new surgeon to get my neck looked at. After my other dr saying no, this new dr said yes, I definitely needed surgery and he doesn't understand why I hadn't had it yet. They wanted to schedule it for next week. The wedding is May 19th. Totally don't want to walk down the aisle in a hard collar lol. So, looks like May 29th, after I come back from the honeymoon, I'll be enjoying a nice stay at the hospital with surgery =(

Don't be afraid! You will need support and so will your FI. I agree I would not want it before the wedding but glad that a doctor was finally able to give you some kind of an answer. Hope things get better!

So sorry you are in so much pain and need the surgery. Lord knows i know the feeling of uncertainty with surgery...fiance is having back surgery next week.

i'm glad you found a doctor that agrees to do the surgery you need!  i agree, i would not want to do it before the wedding if it meant being in a neck brace, and if you can wait until after the honeymoon.

i think you should tell your FI about your fears about the surgery.  it makes the biggest difference to have the love and support of your family, even if all they can do is be there to hold your hand.  i've had a couple major surgeries, so trust me when i say, i understand!
