FI & I had talked about going to the midnight show tonight but decided we're old fuddyduddies! We'll probably wait a couple of weeks because I HATE crowded movie theaters... people are SO obnoxious! But I can't wait!

I had No idea what the hell The Hunger Games even was! I posted on FB asking what it was all about and got an explanation. So, I am going to read the book first (started it last night) and then maybe see the movie in a few weeks when the fever has died down.

My bday is Sunday...but I have work so fi and I both took off on Monday and we going to see it in the afternoon to avoid the crowds. So excited!

I'm behind on the Hunger Games fever. My coworker just brought me the first book today so I will see the movie when I finish! I'm excited...I've been wanting to read them for a long time but kept forgetting...the movie coming out motivated me to read them ASAP!

For those who haven't read the series, the first book is AMAZING.  The second book is FANTASTIC.  The last book is...eh.  It was good, but I felt like the author ran out of ideas and had it end quite strangely.  I'm super excited for the movie, but I think I'm going to wait a few weeks.

I already bought my ticket for tomorrow - I don't care about the crowds I can't WAIT to see it!!!  I've read the books a few times and love this series!

We're going to a place here in Tampa called Cinebistro where it's 'luxury' seating and includes a bar and dinner! No one under 21 permitted, so NO KIDS! Yay! The books are fantastic, and yes I recommend finishing the book first so you don't have a warped sense of the movie. With reviews I've seen I already heard they cut a lot out of the movie, which I get they have to.

AHHHHHHH!!!!! SOOOOO excited!!! I HAVE to see it this weekend! I teach high school too, so all the kids will be talking about it on Monday. Even though I read the books and know the story, I feel like I have to see it before the kids ruin it for me.
I'd go tonight, but FI's an old man! Joking! ;-)

Seriously.  Kind of pathetic.  I may or may not have gotten dressed this morning trying to come up with "Hunger Games" related clothes!  I have a bit of a problem...but my braided hair, pink ribbon, blue skirt, and gold bird earrings acutally look quite cute so whatever

FI will go with me tonight even if it kills him (and it might) and me!  Being a HS teacher, too, I don't even want to think about how much coffee I'll need when I have to be up at 5am tomorrow but it will be SO worth it. 

If you haven't read the books yet please, DOOOOO ITTTTT!

My BMs and I (and our FIs) were planning on going Saturday night after my shower.  However, if Marquette wins tonight, they'll be playing again on Saturday night soooo..... March Madness >> Hunger Games.  We'll be seeing it at some point, though!

FI has read the whole series, i haven't read the last book yet so i hope there's no spoilers.

Peeta is WAY better looking in my imagination than in the movie... ugh... oh well

FYI a friend just posted she had a "Girl on Fire" frappuccino today. Apparently Starbucks had Hunger Games themed drinks today

haha! This is EXACTLY why we don't know when we are going!  KU plays tonight, so that's out, and if they win, they play Sunday!  Priorities, ya know!
