Weather in Mexico?

Just checked out the forecast for our honeymoon, and it is supossed to rain every day for the next 10 days.  We're going to Riviera Maya- anyone know if it typically rains and clears off, or if it really will be rainy everyday?  Nothing we can do about it now, but what a bummer!

We went to Cancun last January and it called for rain a few of the days we were there, but on those days it rained for a max of 30 mins total. I hope it's the same for you, it turned out to be a beautiful week!

Worst case, it'll rain, you'll have free food and drinks... And I'm sure you guys can find plenty of things to do inside, it IS your honeymoon after all

Anywere tropical rain is usually in sections, so it might rain for 3 hours and then stop for 5 or rain for 20 minutes, no one really knows, but it doesnt tend to be straight rain....and it will be warm rain, so maybe just get some cute umbrellas for pictures, I dont think cold will be a problem.

When I was on vacation in playa del carmen several years ago I remember the storms and rain coming and going very quickly, but there's no way to know until you get there! Fingers crossed the weather cooperates for you!

We were just at Secrets Maroma from 5/7 to 5/13 in the Riviera Maya and didn't see a drop of rain the entire time. The forecast showed rain the week before we went, but people there said that it had not rained in weeks. 

Do take some bug spray. If it is does rain, you might see more mosquitoes/bugs than the 1 we saw.

We're going to Cancun, leaving Monday, and I'm worrying about the same thing.  It literally says rain every day in the 10 day forecast.  I'm hoping the same thing you are.. that it will just be a shower here or there!

i just left playa del carmen yesterday and it did rain one day i think the 15. it was bad but super quick. dont worry!!! have fun!!!!!
