...finally get to wear my e-ring again this week!  My e-ring is platinum and was inevitably super scratched up.  FI took it to get polished a couple weeks ago and I haven't worn it since because I want it too look newer than new, which it does right now, on our wedding day.  I've been wearing a plain white gold band on that finger for the past 3 weeks and I really miss my ROCK!  I cannot wait to finally put it back on this week!

Yay! Exciting. When I forget to put my ring back on, I feel naked! Luckily that doesn't happen too often. Lol. I'm sure you'll be staring at your ring all day now.

My band is platinum too. I didn't realize that getting it polished would get the dings out of it That's awesome. I might have to take it and have that done week-of. My band is plat too, and I would ultimately like the wear on both of them to be somewhat similar

I had to have mine repaired last week, and went without it for five days.  I missed it and kept feeling my hand for it.

 

While the jewelry store had it they polished it, and now I am being super careful with it!  I hadn’t realized it was so scuffed up until I got it back and now its so shiny!

Oh yeah, plat is super soft but def the strongest metal.  My jeweler is a family friend of FI, so he did it while Fi waited - said it took like 20 mins.  I think it looks even better than it did when I first got it way back when!!!  The prongs on my wedding band are all plat, too.  You def can't mix metals becuase they wear and age differently.  Can't wait to wear all that bling this week!!!!!
