My sister hired a DJ for us as our wedding gift!!!! I am so excited and relieved - it is really hard choosing songs...and even harder to choose song order!!!!

    That's great! We are just giving our DJ a do not playlist, and some songs we really want to have played in addition to the special dance songs. We are going to tell him to play top 40's from today, and maybe the 70's, 80's, 90's.

    I have a "do NOT play" list and I leave the rest up to him. It's their job to know what gets people to dance. I will request some I want to hear, but the rest is up to him.

    Like PP, I'm just giving our DJ a do-not-play list, along with particuar ones we really want to hear, then the rest is up to him. If they have experience, they should be able to compose a playlist and keep the vibe upbeat
