Slightly annoyed *just a vent*

So...April 6th was our rvsp date, and I  called everyone who hadnt answered over the weekend and thought I had my final list....so I started printing off table cards and the seating chart.....yesterday 2 different parties contacted me to say they are sorry but they are no longer coming. One of them I totally understand, they rvsp'd while still pregnant and since then baby was born, and was born with cancer so has being going through chemo and now at 2 months old has for the first time met his birth rate, but has 2 more rounds of chemo, so going out of town is not an option. The others will only tell me "something came up".  They rvsp'd early and then apparently have known for 2 weeks that they are not coming....so they couldnt have told me BEFORE the deadline? But had to tell me a week later? GEEZ people. I am not taking thier names off at this point because it took me a LONG time to do the table cards and I refuse to reprint it....so I guess we'll just have a table with less people in it. oh well. Hoping for no more of these suprises.

Ouch, that poor couple! But the other couple - that's just a wimpy response. Like, oh sorry, don't care if you already paid for our dinners or painstakingly put together place cards for us, but something came up, and we're not going to bother letting you know what it is. Ugh how inconsiderate. Like, at least they should let you know why you put in all this effort for nothing, and at least they could've had the guts to tell you a week ago.

Look at the bright side - now you have a place to park last minute plus-ones! Lol

Oh my heart just breaks for that couple. And that poor baby. If someone didn't understand why they couldn't come then they have no heart. But I agree about the other couple!
