Omw - wedding stuff has taken over my house!

I'm a May 26th bride......but I feel like wedding stuff has taken over my house- it's a great problem to have!  :)  I've got a guest room full of bridal shower gifts as I have now had my two showers.  The closet is full of stuff for the ceremony, reception, gifts, and my dress.  :)

I finally had to go through everything today and sort it into boxes....reception, ceremony, my bridal accessories (like shoes, jewelry,etc), and gifts for the wedding party.  I marked each box for what it is & where it needs to go.  Would highly suggest this if you need to get the stuff organized.  It made me feel a lot better and condensed things!! :)

Is wedding stuff taking over your place?  :)

    Yes! Thankfully we have one room for it all but I have no idea how we going to organize to make sure it goes where it needs to go!

    Yeah, I can't frickin' wait to get my guest room back.  I hate it in there - it makes me twitch to think about it.  Piles and piles of stuff.

    I have everything stuffed into our guest room closet, along with my bridal shower gifts... I can't wait to actually use my guestroom closet for other things!

    I wish we had a guest room to put this stuff in! Our living room is packed with decorations for the wedding. Fortunately, we've only received monetary gifts so far, no clue what we're going to do about space after the wedding.

    We have tons of boxes in the living room form shower gifts and now wedding gifts are starting. Our dining room table is DIY central.

    Yes, my guest room looks like AC Moore and Macy's puked in there.  But it's organized.  And I'm still waiting for favors to come in so there will be another box to be added.

    Feeling very fortunate that my wedding is in my hometown and as I've bought stuff/finished DIY projects, I've taken them to my parent's house! I think my wedding has overtaken their dining room instead of mine. :)

    Anything still here goes in a bright pink storage tub, then when I go to their house, I empty it out and bring it back. :)

    Funny you should mention this...My FI asked if we were going to be featured on Hoarders cause I have stuff piled to the ceiling in the spare room. I went through most of it last weekend  and organized as best as I could. Can't wait to get my wedding decor out of there.

    Enchanted good thinking...FMIL asked me to bring decorations to her house, not a problem. Her house is 10mins from the venue. She will be setting up the decorations so I can get my hair and make up done on the day of.  Thought I just went crazy with the decorations. Glad to know it's not just me.

    YES! We have SO much stuff here... and I have brought 5 bins worth to my parents house! LOL! In due time it will all be used though :)

    Ours too.  The bedroom has one corner that is unusable…and heaven forbid I have to get something from there…its like mission impossible.

     

    And my dining room table has been filling up with gifts from people.

     

    You are right…it is a nice problem to have.
