My SIL/MOH planned a surprise shower for me and FI (he knew about it). I knew that she and my brother were coming to visit today, but I thought it was just to bring our mailbox (card box) she hand painted for us. I should have realized something was up when FI went on a cleaning spree yesterday and was insistant on going to Kohl's to buy some new clothes. He hates shopping! But he did need new work clothes. When we got back to the house, the driveway was full! I was pretty surprised, and I wished I had dressed better! Atleast I showered in the morning! Lol.
We had a great time and had some great food (there are some great cooks in FI's family and no one has a party without people bringing food!). Almost everything on our registry was purchased and the mailbox came out so beautifully!
I feel so blessed to have such a great family.
