Been busy lately...(long, lots of PIP)

So with 104 days to go, I've been trying to spend less time talking about planning my wedding on TK and more time actually bringing those plans to life!  I went to Michael's this weekend and got pretty much everything I need to finish all my DIY stuff.

Recent developments:

-I loved my original table number idea of using old wedding photos from friends/family...I live an hour away from my hometown, and people just didn't seem into it (sadly).  Oh well.  New idea: I ordered 7" script numbers on round bases from craftyeddy.  I am going to paint them all metallic silver, and then coat just the number portion with Martha Stewart glitter paint!  Excited to receive them.  Here's a photo of a similar letter, but mine will be numbers:

-My unity candle!  Finally did a mock up today...we are using vases & floating flower candles:

-Got my free stuff from Vistaprint: yard side to direct guests, a magnet to put on our reception shuttle, and address labels to put on our candy bar boxes:

(FI and I are both dentists!)

-Decorated my card bircages.  I have 2 because each of them are a little small, so I'll put one at either end of the gift table.  I'm going to put fake envelopes in them so that guests will know they are for cards instead of writing "cards" and attaching it to them.

-Also changed my escort idea to origami cranes.  Each color (eggplant, lavendar, white, blue, or grey) indicate a different menu selection.  I bought jelly roll pens in silver and purple to write people's names on one wing, and their table number on the other wing.  Still not sure how I am going to display them.  I have about 50 folded!

 This was my inspiration photo.

-Program basket:

-Bought little frames to say the names of the candies...this is all our candy bar stuff, minus 2 more of the shorter/flatter glass containers that my mom insists she gave me,but I don't have anywhere!

-Also got the my necklace pendant!  Sorry for the bad pic...not very good lighting by the mirror to take photos, it doesn't do it justice!  The swarovski crystals are so sparkley =]:

-Almost got out rehearsal dinner set to go - FI's father offered to pay for it, so yay to that!  I have my (hopefully) last fitting on Saturday, and Sunday is my birthday - some of my BMs are coming to visit, so they'll get to try on their BM dresses, too!

Hooray wedding =]
