first dance question

We are dancing to Everything by Michael Buble. It's is 3 1/2 minutes long and we can't decide if we should play the entire song or only dance for until about 2 minutes into it. I like the idea of cutting it a little short because I don't want guests to be bored but it also seems awkward to cut it short b/c there isn't really a good stopping point. Do you think 3.5 minutes is a long song? What are you guys going to be doing for yours?

We aren't cutting ours but our song isn't very long.

If you want to cut it and there isn't a good place to do it, what if you just had your DJ (or band or whoever) fade it out? Would that work?

I would just dance to the whole song. We plan to. I think our song is about 3mins 30 seconds.

That 3.5 minutes will go by so fast.  Don't cut it short.  Enjoy it.

Thanks ladies! Yeah we don't want to cut it short but our dance teacher keeps suggesting it because he said the guests will be bored. He's a little odd though so I will ignore him and just stick to taking dance advice from him lol
